The Cass Review

The Cass Review of Trans Healthcare published its final report on 10th April, 2024.

The report is about health services and so schools should not make any changes as a result of the report. Transactual have produced a full breakdown of the report and this can be downloaded from the following link. Some responses to the report are also shown below

TransActual - Cass Review Analysis

We have also produced a briefing for schools and other organisations on what the Cass Review actually says, specifically on the topic of social transition.

Professional criticism of the Cass Review

At TNB Education, we are educators, not healthcare professionals. Unfortunately, the Cass Review has been used as justification for a wide range of regressive measures to be taken against trans children and young people.

Since we believe in following the evidence, we want to highlight the significant number of criticisms made of the Cass Review's research methods and conclusions by healthcare professionals.
